Our 2019-2020 Team
Amber Daveline is a Senior Elementary Education major with an emphasis in Special Education. Her hometown is Manhattan, Kansas. She has been dancing since she was 3. She danced, competed, and taught at Washington Dance Studio. She is experienced in jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, pointe, hip-hop, and musical theater. This is Amber's 4th year teaching at RSD. As Director, she is excited to continue sharing her passion for dance with those in the community. She currently teaches our 3 and 4 year old classes as well as lyrical.
Marie Henderson is a Senior Elementary Education major with a minor in Dance from Nicholasville, Kentucky. She danced at Savage Dance Company in Maryland for 6 years before moving to Kentucky where she continued to dance on her high school team. Overall, she had been dancing for 17 years. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, swing, and ballroom. This is Marie's 4th year with us and she absolutely loves teaching her kids. She currently teaches our 5 year olds, hip hop 1, intermediate combo, and many of our private lessons.
Sophie Anderson is a Senior Nursing major from Minnesota. She began dancing 18 years ago and her favorite style is contemporary or jazz. Sophie has also trained in ballet, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and kickline. This is her 4th year teaching at RSD. Sophie is assisting our Hip Hop 3 class this year.
Ranae Peterson is a Senior from Des Moines, Iowa. She is majoring in Finance and Art. She began dancing at the age of 3. She has experience in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and lyrical. She danced and taught at the Studio of Classical Ballet and Dance and was part of the pre-professional Ballet Des Moines II Company. This is her 3rd year teaching at RSD. She currently teaches Beginning Combo and Ballet. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with the kids.
Marielle Rebello is a Senior Nursing major from Downers Grove, Illinois. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years until she started dancing her junior year of high school. She joined her high school dance team senior year and has been dancing since then. Her favorite dance styles are jazz and hip-hop. This is Marielle's 4th year teaching at RSD and she loves to watch her dancers grow and develop a passion for dance. She teaches hip hop 3 this year.
Danielle Arconati is a Junior Business Management and Marketing major from St. Louis, Missouri. She danced at Gibby's Dance Productions for 9 years and at On Your Toes Dance Studio for 5 years. She taught kids there during her sophomore year of high school as well. She is experienced in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Bollywood, pom, kickline, ballet, hip-hop, pointe, tap, and musical theater. This is Danielle's 2nd year as a teacher at RSD. She teaches our Lyrical and Advanced Combo class.
Rose Zachmann is a Sophomore studying Nursing from Brighton, Michigan. She began training in classical ballet at the age of 4 at Brighton School of Ballet. She continued doing ballet throughout high school in addition to pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. This is Rose's second year at RSD and she teaches our Ballet class. Rose enjoys sharing her love for dance with others.
Journey Reynolds is a Sophomore from Pella, Iowa with the intentions of majoring in International Business and Spanish. She has been dancing for 16 years and has trained at several different studios. She has experience in the styles of jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe, pom, and kick. Journey was a varsity member of her high school dance team for 4 years and was a part of the All-Iowa Honor Dance team for 3 consecutive years. She also participated in the ISDTA solo competition 3 times, where she recieved two Division 1 ratings and later placed 7th overall. This will be Journey's first year at RSD and she is looking forward to this year! Journey helps teach our beginning combo class.
Christina Pierre is a Freshman and is co-teaching hip hop 2 this year! She is from Bellevue, Nebraska and is majoring in Nursing. She danced at Jean Lanphier Dance Studio for 11 years where she took classes in classical ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and pointe. She also served as an assistant teacher in all areas, but especially hip-hop. Christina loves to dance and teach dance, and hopes to continue both as long as possible!
Brooklynne Wozny is a Freshman from Carrollton, Missouri. She is majoring in Early Childhood Education. She has previously danced and taught at Shapes Dance and Acro and has competed for 15 years in all styles of dance such as hip-hop, jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and acro. Brooklynne is an assistant teacher for our 4 year old class and Advanced Combo.
Johnelle Mosier is a Freshman assisting with creative movement and hip hop 1, and co-teaching hip hop 2 this year.
Maggie Mowery is a Freshman Theology major with a minor in dance from Phoenix, Arizona. She has been dancing since she was 5 years old a Pheonix Dance Academy. She also danced on her studio's competition team for 4 years and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and acrobatics. This is Maggie's first year at RSD and she is very excited for this dance season! Maggie is assisting our Intermediate Combo class.
